COMMUNITY EDUCATION: A BIBLIOMETRIC STUDY 2012-2022

Abstract
The present study is a bibliometric study that seeks to characterize the research articles produced between 2012 and 2020 on community education that are freely accessible through the Google Scholar search engine. The following bibliometric indicators of scientific production were analyzed: several authors, year of publication, countries where the studies were conducted, and methodology used. Finding that the year with the highest publication on community education was 2017, with six publications, of which three correspond to research conducted in Venezuela. Most of the studies were individual (n=9), in pairs (n=7), and three with more than two authors. It is recommended to encourage the publication of the experiences that are being carried out in community education.
